What Up?
Where else do you need to be? If it’s important, go do it. I’ll be here when you’re done, as will access to new music, travel journals, concert footage, and website. Last year (2023) I began the journey of recording every show, mixing the audio and synching the video to archive in Substack. It’s worth a look.
Why become a paid subscriber?
It costs $5 bucks a year. Not really breaking the bank to support local live music. I priced it that way for locals, friends, and family. We all know the arts are far more valuable than that. Each subscription pays the band of friends I’ve assembled to perform my songs, local engineers who help record, mix and master the songs, and lastly it helps us perform by keeping our gear repaired and maintained.
Do me a favor, you don’t really need to subscribe, I’ll live, just promise you’ll go see some live music this month. Doing so helps all of us.
Substack rocks…
If it weren’t for this platform, I’d have no where but a solid state drive in my studio to archive live concert footage. Video fills up drives faster than anything I’ve ever seen. The subscription part is the long game, the short game for me is recording and archiving as much music as I possibly can in my short time on earth.
